Deadline: 28 February 2014
The University of Aberdeen is accepting applications for Normativity Studentship for a three years full-time PhD program from students who are high achievers. Students who are applying for a PhD program in law, philosophy or theology can apply for normativity studentship by making an explicit note in their application material, on their interest, to be selected for the studentship. Awarded to total 4 high achieving PhD students, the studentship consists of a full fee waiver (three years of full-time PhD study at the Home/EU or Overseas student rate as appropriate) and an annual maintenance stipend of £3,600 in each of three years of full-time study.
Students can either apply online or download the postgraduate application form and return it to the postgraduate admissions office via mail. International applicants should note that if they need a Tier 4 student visa to enter the UK, they are required under British Immigration law to study on a full-time basis. Students applying to undertake a postgraduate research degree, and not a taught program, should also work on the research proposal. Applications received after the mentioned deadline will be considered for the next available intake.
Eligibility Criteria –
- A complete Postgraduate Application Form.
- Academic transcripts and/or degree certificate(s) to date.
- For international applicants, proof of proficiency in English (English Language Requirements) – either TOEFL or IELTS.
