United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is accepting applications from qualified organizations based in Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and/or Thailand to implement the program entitled ‘SERVIR Mekong’. Major goal of the program is to enhance climate change adaptation and landscape management in the Lower Mekong through the increased application of geospatial analysis. The effective tools for understanding and managing risk, visualizing global and landscape level change, and can greatly enhance decision-making for sustainable development are timely geospatial data, earth observations, and predictive models.
One cooperative agreement will be awarded approximately $7,500,000 for a period of five years to implement the program and achieve its goal.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) based in Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam are eligible to submit applications.
- Applying organizations must be politically neutral, and have a commitment to non-discrimination with respect to beneficiaries and adherence to equal opportunity employment practices.
- Applications must demonstrate that the applying organization is capable of and have the capacity to deliver services in Lower Mekong Region.
- Two separate documents – technical and cost/business applications must be submitted along with all required documents in order to be considered.
