International Filmmakers are invited to participate in My Year Video Scholarship Contest under Vancouver Film School (VFS).
Prizes-
- 10 Full-Tuition Scholarships
- 1 Full-Tuition Social Sharing Scholarship
- Up to 50 Partial-Tuition Scholarships
- 3 Full-Tuition Early Bird Scholarships
- Up to $500,000 Partial-Tuition Early Bird Scholarships
Video Technical Guidelines–
- No longer than 90 seconds, based on time code displayed on YouTube.
- VFS is not responsible for technical difficulties and/or errors. This includes videos that are visually compromised, lost, late, delayed, etc.
- Submissions must be in English or include subtitles. Entries not in English may take longer to approve.
- All selected winners must electronically submit files of their final video submission to VFS
Eligibility & Criteria-
Canadian Eligibility
- Must apply to their program of interest, meet all application requirements, program requirements and be accepted into VFS in order to qualify for the scholarship.
- Must be at least 19 years old or have graduated from high school before selected start date.
- Must meet English Language requirements before selected start date.
International Eligibility
- Must apply to their program of interest, meet all application requirements, program requirements and be accepted into VFS in order to qualify for the scholarship.
- Must be at least 19 years old or have graduated from high school before selected start date.
- Must meet English Language requirements before selected start date.
- Must be able to secure a student Visa before selected start date.
