Applications are invited for Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship program which aims to offer £1,000. Scholarship is offered to pursue-
- Undergraduate degrees (BA/BSc/LLB) in any subject
- Postgraduate diplomas and master’s courses (PGDip/MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) in any subject
- MPhil/PhD research degrees in any subject – excluding the International PhD programme
Thematic areas-
- Art, Design and Humanities
- Health and Life Sciences
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Both self-funding and sponsored international students are eligible to apply
- Students must be studying full-time, on campus to qualify for the scholarship. Distance Learning students are not eligible
- No cash alternatives will be offered and the scholarship cannot be transferred to any other course at DMU or to any other nominated recipient
- Scholarships cannot be deferred with an application for September 2014 or later
- For overseas students who are also entitled to the £500 discount for early payment of their academic-tuition fees in full at enrolment, a total of £1,500 will be deducted from their fees
- For applicants who also qualify for the £500 Alumni Scholarship, a further £500 will be deducted from the tuition fee at enrolment
- If an applicant is allocated a scholarship but then withdraws their application or does not enrol onto the course for any reason, the scholarship is forfeited
- The university reserves the right to withdraw or not award scholarships at any point before they are allocated.
