All eligible applicants are invited to apply for Visiting International Fellowships offered by Department of Sociology at the University of Surrey. Fellowship is offered in the field of development of sociological research methods. An award of £2,500 will be made as a contribution towards travel and subsistence expenses incurred in holding the Fellowship.
Eligibility-
The awards are open to those who would value the opportunity to advance methodological understanding, for example by reflecting on methods used in previous empirical research, by validating existing or new methodological procedures, or by reviewing and synthesizing methodological approaches. Methods’ is interpreted widely, ranging from statistical techniques to innovations in qualitative analysis. The VIF is intended for established scholars, who are normally at least 5 years post doctorate.
