UN Women has issued a call for proposals for NGOs in Cambodia to submit project proposals for the promotion and protection of the rights of women migrant workers and ensure that their rights are upheld in accordance with international conventions.
Proposals should focus on the enforcement of legal frameworks or awareness-raising and advocacy with relevant stakeholders.
Proposals can be submitted by an organization or jointly by two or more organizations of any of the following categories.
- Non‐governmental organizations
- Community‐based organizations
- Associations and Unions
- Educational and academic institutions
The applying organization must be legally registered in Cambodia.
The selection criterion requires proposals to:
- Take a human rights-based and gender-responsive approach
- Build the capacity of target beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders
The financial assessment will review the following;
1. Extent to which the financial proposal fulfils the requirements of the allowed budget range
2. Reasonableness of budget, the budget lines and budget amount are in line with the proposed activities and work plan with reasonable estimation of costs.
