The Hague University is granting 2013 World Citizen Talent Scholarships for Bachelor Students from outside the European Union (and not from Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Surinam) in Netherlands.
54 scholarships are provided to the students who would like to start their bachelor programme during the academic year 2013-2014. At €5,000 each, the scholarships cover almost two-thirds of the total first year university’s tuition fee and will only be awarded once.
University is seeking young, intelligent, talented and ambitious people who view themselves as citizens of the world. If this sounds good to the applicant according to the conditions listed in the website, then applicant has to complete the application form and write an essay of 950 to 1100 words that would convince to the university to provide applicant with a scholarship.
In the essay, describe cultural background and explain why and how applicant can contribute to the multinational, multicultural beehive that is The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The social contact among the students also makes for an enriching study period. The Hague is the perfect home for our university, it is a very international city which deserves its title – The International City of Peace & Justice.
Eligibility-
- Applicant come from outside the European Union (and not from Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland or Surinam)
- Applicant are enrolling for the first time for the first year of one of our bachelor programmes
- Applicant would otherwise have to pay the full institutional tuition fee rate
- Applicant have never used this scholarship scheme before
- Applicant have fully completed the scholarship application form
- Applicant will have been provisionally accepted as a student on or before 31 March
- Applicant have written an essay, as explained in website.
