The High Commission for Canada in Cameroon has issued a call for proposals from local NGOs under the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) for the following Thematic Priorities:
Priority Areas:
- Preventing sexual and gender based violence;
- Protecting human rights and fundamental freedoms, including vulnerable groups such as sexual minorities;
- Supporting democratic transition and expanded democratic participation, particularly by women and minority groups
- Preventing child, early and forced marriage (CEFM);
- Protecting religious freedom.
The selected projects must be implemented between September 2015 and end of February 2016. The funding is limited to a maximum of $ 25,000 CAD ( 12 million CFA francs ) per project.
The proposals are to be submitted no later than 29 August 2015.
