The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women was set up in 2008 in response to Cherie’s experiences meeting women around the world and the realization that, with the right support, women can overcome the challenges they face and play an important part in the economies and societies in which they work and live.
The mission of the foundation is to provide women with the skills, technology, networks and access to capital that they need to become successful small and growing business owners, so that they can contribute to their economies and have a stronger voice in their societies.
