EuropeAid is seeking proposals for support to SMEs in China. The goal of this program is to increase and diversify the exports and investment of European Union SMEs to China. The EU SME Centre intends to achieve this by helping European Small and Medium Sized Enterprises to overcome barriers and constraints they face in their efforts to invest in or export to the Chinese market.
Objectives-
- Assisting European SMEs towards establishing and developing a commercial presence in the Chinese market (through exports and/or investments) by providing EU-added value support services.
- Improving synergies and best practice sharing at the European, national and regional EU business association levels, with the ultimate goal to benefit the EU SMEs intending to do business in China.
- Strengthening European advocacy of EU business community related to business activities.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 6 000 000. The initial planned duration of the action may not be lower nor exceed 48 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be established for at least 2 years at the time of the submission of an application in a Member State of the European Union or in the People’s Republic of China or any other eligible country stipulated in the eligibility rules of the instrument under which the contract is financed
- be business intermediaries
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary
- be able to demonstrate their experience and capacity to manage activities corresponding in scale and complexity with the activities for which this grant is requested
