Applications are accepted for R. Randle Edwards Fellowships Program in Chinese Law offered by Columbia Law School. The goal of this program is to supports outstanding Chinese legal scholars and teachers who wish to spend a period in residence at Columbia Law School and conduct research under the direction of Columbia’s Center for Chinese Legal Studies.
Benefits–
The stipend amount is expected to be approximately U.S. $2,500 per month. Columbia Law School cannot provide any financial or logistical assistance for accompanying spouses, including securing suitable family housing.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Have strong English language skills
- Be engaged in full-time law teaching or academic research
- Be 35 years of age or younger OR be engaged in full-time research or law teaching for less than five years, and who will, by the start of their period as a fellow, have been engaged in full-time research or law teaching for at least one year (full-time students will generally not be considered)
- Have not previously studied or conducted research for an extended period in the United States
