The University of Aberdeen announces Sir Thomas Sutherland Scholarships which will be organized in October 2012. This scholarship commemorate the life as well as work of Sir Thomas Sutherland.
These scholarships are specifically designed to ensure students are at the University of Aberdeen during academic sessions 2012-13 to 2015-16 which the following anniversary relating to Sir Thomas will be commemorated. The scholarships will cover full tuition fees for the duration of the degree. Four undergraduate scholarships will be awarded for study in any aspect of banking, business, finance or business-related studies.
Eligibility:
To be considered for the award you must have:
- Applicants must be citizens of China or Hong Kong liable to overseas tuition rates. Preference will be given, in the first instance, to applicants connected with HSBC (as employees or the descendants of those currently employed by HSBC).
- Applied for admission to the University of Aberdeen
- Submitted the relevant application form for the scholarship
Decisions will be made on the basis of academic merit. Applicants must complete the relevant application form and offer all supporting documentation requested therein.
