The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) with the support of Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Government of Finland is calling for proposals for the making of a documentary film which will highlight the promotion and enabling of Freedom of Expression in the Arab Region.
This documentary film is intended to act as a communication channel to the donors, stakeholders, the media and the wider public on this specific project .The long and short versions of the film will be created in both English and Arabic.For the following countries: Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Syria, Jordan, Morocco, Lebanon, Yemen and South Sudan, 9 films of 2-5 minutes each are required.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience and competency in documentary production.
- Experience in working with international organizations as well as in working with state institutions in Arab countries.
- Five to ten years working experience in development of documentary /film production.
- Additional experience in development communication and mass communication.
- The competency to deliver the services.
- Excellent technical capacities to ensure smooth and high quality production.
- Ability to start immediately.

The production companies should submit Concept Notes (technical and financial proposals) indicating how they propose to undertake the assignment, their cost in US dollars, 2 page curriculum vitae of all team members, three most recent CDs/ DVDs, at least four previous clients along with their contact information, and statement of capability.
