Participants from Egypt are invited to participate in film competition that exhibits authentic voices of women living through political, social and economic transition in Egypt. This program is supported by Misr International Films, the British Embassy and the British Council.
How to apply?
- Applicants must submit a written “Vision Statement” in no more than 200 words explaining why they are interested in taking part in the film competition. Applicants should also set out their idea for their film and how they would showcase the theme of women and transition. The vision statements can be submitted in English or Arabic.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply and be of Egyptian nationality
- Applicants need to be amateur film makers
- Applicants from outside Cairo are highly encouraged to apply
