Proposals are invited for Complementary rehabilitation and re-socialization services in the criminal justice sector in Georgia. This program is funded under Europe Aid. The focus of this program is to promote restorative justice and contribute to rehabilitation and re-socialization of inmates, former inmates, probationers and children in conflict with the law.
Objectives-
- To increase access of prisoners, former inmates, probationers and children in conflict with the law to vocational training, education and other types of rehabilitation and re-socialization services
- To design and implement secondary crime prevention programmes for children and rehabilitation/re-socialization programmes/services for diverted juveniles
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is €2 000 000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 18 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- belong to one of the following categories-
- be specific types of organisations such as: non-governmental organisations, public sector operators, local authorities, international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- be established in a Member State of the European Union, or in the European Economic Area, or an eligible beneficiary country under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance . This obligation does not apply to international organisations and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- be established for at least two years at the time of the publication of this Call for Proposals, as documented by the organization’s registration documents
