EuropeAid is inviting proposals for European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR): Country-Based Support Scheme Program for Georgia. The purpose of this program is to contribute to the development and consolidation of democracy and the rule of law and respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms, within the framework of the European Union’s policy on development cooperation, and economic, financial and technical cooperation with third countries, and consistent with the European Union’s foreign policy as a whole.

The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 1,000,000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be specific types of organisations such as: non-governmental organisations, international (intergovernmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- be established in8 Georgia or in a Member State of the European Union or of an accession or official candidate country as recognised by the EU, or a Member State of the European Economic Area. This obligation does not apply to international organisations and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- have been registered for at least two years at the time of the submission of an application
- for non-Georgian NGOs: have at least three years experience of working in Georgia at the time of the submission of an application
