The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced Call for Expression under the Promotion of Biomass Production and Utilization in Georgia project. The overall objective of the project is to promote sustainable production and utilization of upgraded biomass fuels in Georgia, encouraging the stakeholders to establish the pilot production projects through grant investments; start and develop biomass fuel utilization in the municipal sector.
The grant support is envisaged for supporting organizations in establishing production and utilization of produced biomass fuels. Also to provide necessary technical and management support and control implementation of business plans.
Grant Information
The maximum amount of the grant is USD 150,000 including management costs.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 3 years’ experience in any of following fields: Energy efficiency, biomass fuels, climate change mitigation and adaptation.
- Experience in supporting: business entities, local governments, or civil groups.
- Experience of implementing grant project of total value no less than USD 150,000 within last 5 years.
- Good track record confirmed by at least 2 letter of references from the clients and/or donors supporting projects implemented at least within the last 5 years.
- Good tax payment record.
- Accessibility of staff qualified for identification of the most appropriate equipment, its procurement and relevant monitoring.
