The US Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration is calling proposals for NGO programs benefiting refugees and displaced persons in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
Award Information
- Proposed program start dates: September 1, 2015
- Duration of Activity: Program plans for 12 months will be considered.
- Funding Limits: Project proposals should not exceed the following limits or they will be disqualified:
- $200,000 for Azerbaijan
- $125,000 for Georgia
- $100,000 for Central Asia
Eligibility Information
- Proposed activities should primarily support refugees and displaced populations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
- Proposals must focus on one or more of the following sectors: protection, livelihoods/self-reliance, confidence building.
- Eligible applicants are nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education, nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education, and international organizations.
- Cost sharing, matching, or cost participation is not a requirement of an application.
How to Apply?
- Each applicant is required to:
- Be registered in SAM before submitting its application;
- Provide a valid DUNS number in its application; and
- Continue to maintain an active SAM registration with current information at all times during which it has an active PRM award or an application or plan under consideration by PRM.
- Proposals must be submitted via Grants.gov (not via GrantSolutions.gov).
- Applications must be submitted under the authority of the Authorized Organization Representative at the applicant organization.
