The Gender Centre is inviting new media personnel around Ghana to apply for a three-day training workshop on Effective Reportage on Women’s Rights Issues to be held during November 2014. The training aims to build the media professionals’ capacity on positive and effective reportage on women’s rights issues. This training program is a part of the Gender Center’s four year project entitled ’Women in Leadership’
The Gender Centre has been implementing a four- year (2012 – 2015) “women in leadership project” in Ghana that seeks in providing skills and opportunities for women making them contribute towards the achievement of MDG3 as well as eradicating poverty in the country. The project aims at making increased women participation at local as well as national level in decision making process thus protecting and promoting women’s rights and development while advocating for their own needs too.
Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must be a women media personnel belonging to Ghana.
