Interested organizations are invited to design projects for strengthening democratic governance in Ghana through civil society engagement and advocacy. The mission of this project is to increase the influence of civil society and Parliament in the governance of public goods and service delivery. This program is supported by European Union, DANIDA, USAID and DfID.
The proposed projects can have a maximum duration of eighteen months but could be of shorter duration. They should build on previous or on-going civil society governance initiatives, including initiatives undertaken under STAR-Ghana’s 2012 Elections Call.

- Citizen’s engagement in government accountability
Eligibility & Criteria–
- Be legally registered in Ghana
- Must be a national level organization
- Must have a proven track record of achieving results around chosen area
- Must have the ability to convene key national stakeholders around critical issues
- Must have the ability to mobilize CSOs at both national and subnational levels for long-term engagement around critical issues
