Proposals are invited for Integrated program to achieve Sustainable Food Security II – Support to the Small Holder Livestock and Agriculture sectors under Europe Aid.The purpose of this proposal is to produce more and more in agricultural (small holder) sector, increasing food, nutrition and income security at household and national level.
Objectives-
- To develop and implement improved livestock systems, increasing productivity, market integration and income sustainability.
- To develop and implement diversified and appropriate value chains for small holder farmers
Call for proposals is divided into the following TWO lots-
- Lot 1: Support to the Smallholder Livestock Sector
- Lot 2: Support to Smallholder Agriculture Sector
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 15,000,000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 36 nor exceed 48 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit-making
- be specific types of organisations such as: non-governmental organisations, member state development cooperation agency, international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or Africa-Caribbean and Pacific countries as defined under the latest revision of the Cotonou Agreement. This obligation does not apply to international organisations and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
