The Making All Voices Count is calling applications to fund projects that amplify the voices of citizens and enable effective government response.
Grants
- Innovation grants – these grants support innovative ideas, tools and products that contribute to government transparency and accountability
- Scaling grants – these provide opportunities for proven concepts in innovation and governance to increase their reach and impact
- Research grants – these grants foster research that contributes to the evidence base and improved practice in the fields of transparency, accountability and voice, in-particular, technology for transparency and accountability.
The majority of grants are usually for proposals under £100,000, although for exceptional proposals the grant ceiling may be raised.
About
Making All Voices Count is supported by the U.K Department for International Development (DFID), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Open Society Foundations (OSF) and Omidyar Network (ON), and is implemented by a consortium consisting of Hivos (lead organisation), the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) and Ushahidi.
Focus Countries – Bangladesh, Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Liberia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.
For Innovation and Scaling grants, applicants can submit proposal online or download the application form and submit it via email.
