The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is pleased to invite application to implement the Partnership for Education: Learning activity in Ghana. The major purpose of this programme is to focus on improving literacy at primary school levels.
Objectives:
- Enhanced early grade reading and math teaching and learning
- Improved basic education policy and management systems for sustained learning outcomes especially in reading
- Strengthened parent, school and local government capacity and engagement to promote
- support reading.
Funding of up to $71.8 million approx may be requested.
Eligibility criteria:
- To be considered for award of a cooperative agreement, in addition to other conditions of this RFA,organizations must have a politically neutral humanitarian mandate, a commitment to nondiscrimination with respect to beneficiaries and adherence to equal opportunity employment practices. Non-discrimination includes equal treatment without regard to race, religion, ethnicity,gender, and political affiliation.

- USAID encourages applications from potential new partners
- There is no requirement for prior USAID experience under this RFA
