The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from organizations to fund a program entitled” Strengthening HIV/AIDS Continuum of Care Services.”
The program’s goal is to improve institutional and technical capacity of the Government of Ghana and its partners for provision and management of comprehensive, high quality and sustainable HIV/AIDS services across the continuum of care for Key Populations and PLHIV.
PEPFAR is the USG’s initiative to help save the lives of those suffering from HIV and AIDS around the world.
Program Objectives
- To develop and implement evidence-based, comprehensive HIV prevention, protection, treatment, care and support services for KP.
- To create an enabling environment for KP interventions through focused advocacy and community engagement to address barriers (social, cultural, religious, political and legal) to effective interventions and ii) reduce vulnerability, stigma and discrimination among KP.
- To strengthen coordination among stakeholders and enhance organizational capacity to effectively deliver comprehensive services for KP.
- To strengthen the evidence base and KP monitoring systems and to promote the generation of strategic information to improve KP programming and inform key stakeholders and decision makers.
Funding Information
USAID will provide approximately up to US $18,500,000 in total USAID funding over a 5 year period

Eligibility Criteria
Any qualified US or non-US non-governmental organization (including, but not limited to, Private Voluntary Organizations (PVOs) and for-profit entities) or Public International Organization (PIOs) is eligible to apply for the program.
