The Amar Ujala Foundation is currently accepting applications from young students in India for its Atul Maheshwari Scholarships 2015. This is a unique scholarship program by Amar Ujala Foundation specially tailored for the students pursuing their education from government institutions, having family income below 1.5 Lakh Rupees.
The students selected through this scholarship program would continue to get scholarship for 3 consecutive years. Total number of scholarships available is 36 categorized as stated below.
Scholarship Categories & Grants
- For 9th & 10th Class Scholarships- Rs 30,000
- For 11th & 12th class scholarships- Rs 50,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Indian student having a minimum of 65% in their last qualified exam.
- Applicants must be a student of the government institutions in India that comes under Amar Ujala coverage area. Coverage States includes Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and many others.
- The annual family income of the applicant must not exceed 1.5 lakhs.
- Applicants must have a valid email id at the time of application.
How to Apply
- Applicants/students must fill the online application form available on the Amar Ujala Foundation website.
- Students can also apply through their mobile phones by giving a miscall on the provided number.
- Applicants have to appear in the written exam to be held in various centers/cities in India.
- Applicants will be informed via email and will be issued a admit card to enter in the written exam.
