The India Fellows is currently accepting applications from young Indians for the India Fellowship Program 2016 to capture the attention of young people from all walks of life, with diverse career interests, to dig in and get their hands dirty, to get to know the development challenges through internship, training and coaching.
The Programme mission is to engage young Indians in nation building. The Programme want young Indians to get exposed to the myriad social challenges that India is facing and find their leadership potential, shape their futures and make a difference.
The organization supports the fellow with a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 for living expenses. Fellow is slated to start from July 2016 for a duration of 13 months.
Program Objective
Create a learning platform for young Indians who undergo a 13 month long journey of discovering their own leadership potential. It includes training, mentor-ship, reflections and hands-on work experience with a grassroots organization working on social issues.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant should be an Indian citizen or a person of Indian origin between 20 to 28 years of age.
- Applicant must be a graduate (in any discipline) or will be by July 2016 before fellowship begins.
- Applicant must be willing to undergo 13 month full time training/learning program for the fellowship.
- Applicant can be with or without work experience and should exhibit values of the India Fellows program specified above.
Application Procedure
- Applications can be filled by a detailed online application form available on the website.
- Shortlisted candidates will go through a telephonic interview with the India Fellow team.
- Those who qualify after the telephonic interview will be invited for a day of assessment process and personal interview.
- Final selections will be announced after the personal interview.
