The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) invites scholarship applications from the students pursuing education in the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge in the academic year 2014-15. The scholarships are part-cost awards for undergraduate, second undergraduate, graduate study and research in any subject available at the two universities.
Scholarships 2014 –
- One OCSI Scholarship Award – worth INR400,000 – to any of the two Universities.
- One Scholarship – worth INR100,000 – to Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge.
- One Scholarship – worth INR100,000 – to St. Hilda’s College, University of Oxford.
Along with the financial support, the scholar will receive Letter of Support from OCSI for other scholarship awarding bodies; assistance in fast-tracked education loan from an Indian financial institution, based on OCSI scholarship letter, with automatic loan qualification-status from a leading financial institution; complimentary life membership of the Oxford and Cambridge
Course of Study Supported –
- Research leading to PhD degree
- One-year post-graduate courses (e.g. MPhil, LLM, Diploma, CASM or Part III Maths, MBA, PGCE etc.)
- Taught and research based Masters Programs of various durations (including MSc, Engineering, Medicine)
- Second Bachelors Degree as an Affiliated Student/Senior Status
- Bachelors Degree Program

Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicant must be the citizen and resident of India, not more than 30 years by 1 May 2014.
- The scholarship is available to any individual without discrimination of race, color, religion, disability, sex, or ancestry and age (besides the maximum criterion).
- Applicant must be a graduate of an Indian University (those expecting to graduate in 2014 are also eligible to apply).
- Applicant must have applied for and secured admission to study a full-time course (one among the course of study mentioned above) at the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford. Proof required.
- To receive the scholarship, applicant must be admitted to the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford through University’s normal academic procedures.
- Close family members of the Executive Committee of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of India are not eligible for the scholarships.
- Originally established as an alumni association, The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) has been offering academic and educational support from 1960s.
