The Australia India Institute has released a grant opportunity by inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for funding projects which support the key priorities of the Institute to strengthen research cooperation, professional links and cultural understanding between Australia and India.
The Institute is interested in supporting a range of activities like workshops, seminars, visiting fellowships, scholarships (including top-up scholarships), research project expenses, cultural events and exchanges.
Institute grants will not usually exceed $50,000. The grants will generally be for a period of 12 months.
The priority areas of the Institute are: resources and environment, health, contemporary India, regional relations, education and economics and business.
Applications can be made by individuals who are Australian nationals or Australian permanent residents or by organizations. Indian individuals and institutions wishing to apply should do so through their Australian partner/s.
