The Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the Australia-India Council (AIC) has announced a call for applications for Australian Studies Fellowships and Young Media Fellowships.
The primary purpose of the AIC Studies Fellowship program is to more fully acquaint visiting Indian scholars with Australian Studies centres and programs in Australia. Applicants must be employed as academic staff or be undertaking research degrees from a recognised Indian University. The Young Media Fellowships provide career development opportunities for promising young Indian print and television journalists in Australia. The Fellowships encourage long-term networks between Indian and Australian journalists and media organisations, and expose young Indian journalists to Australian stories.
