Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center (BVPDTC) is currently organizing three -day training program on “PROJECT PROPOSAL WRITING” at organizational level on 12-14 November, 2015 at Bala Vikasa People Development Training Center, India. Scholarships are available for eligible non profit organisations in India to undertake the training.
The Project proposal forms the basis of your relationship with a donor. This program deals with how to write the proposal; and the follow-up required once it is written and sent off, what you need to know about donors, your own project or organization before you write a funding proposal. You will also find guidelines on what to put into your proposal and how to write it.
SOPAR-Bala Vikasa is a non-profit organization devoted to sustainable development in India. Its approach is to help communities help themselves by providing rural villagers with the tools and resources they need to transform their lives.
Bala Vikasa with its development approach has designed a three day program exclusively for those NGO’s who do not feel confident about writing Project Proposal and who may not have much experience in it. It helps the NGO’s, individuals who are committed to increase their organization capacity to raise and maximize financial resources.

- The participants will be awarded a certificate of participation on conclusion of the course.
- Scholarship: The total program cost is Rs.5000 which includes food and accommodation (non A/C rooms on 3 sharing basis). But in order to encourage the small and the grassroots NGOs, the Center will provide upto 50% scholarships.
Eligibility Criteria
- The course is designed for the Project Managers, PNGO staff and CBO’s and Government officers. As the maximum intake for the training program is 25, the nominations are accepted on the ‘first come first served’ basis.
- As the training program will be in English the person deputed should be fluent in spoken and written English.
