All eligible applicants are invited to submit applications for Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam & UTS PhD Scholarship offered by University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). The scholarship is provided to assist with general living costs and tuition fees. The scholarship aims to foster and strengthen academic and cultural links between India and Australia.
One new candidate will be awarded the scholarship each year and may be held for up to three years for doctorate studies. The scholarship includes a tuition fee waiver and stipend of A$24,653 per annum.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be Indian international students; and
- have completed a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours, or be regarded by UTS as having an equivalent level of attainment; and
- be undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) commencing in 2014 at UTS in the year of the scholarship (The scholarship is not available to applicants whose enrolment into a postgraduate research program has not been accepted by UTS); and
- be enrolled as a full-time student.
