Delegation of the European Union to India invites proposals under Indo European Cooperation to supporting the development of new Renewable Energy sources and Renewable Energy Technologies in India to enhance energy security by setting up a medium size solar biomass hybrid plant and supporting the development of off-shore Wind technologies to promote energy efficiency and energy safety, and the development of low carbon energy .
Main objective of this proposal is to provide support to the implementation of India’s national policies and programmes that promote the development of New Renewable Energy sources and related economic and employment activities.
The priority states to implement solar biomass hybrid power activities are- Bihar, Rajesthan, Tamilnadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Orissa and Chattisgarh.
The priority states to implement off-Shore wind activities are- Tamil Nadu and Gujarat
The overall EU amount made available under this call for proposals is EUR 12,000,000.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be legal persons or an entity without legal personality
- Be specific types of organizations- public sector, local authorities, non-governmental organizations, sectoral association, national or regional technology institutions/ Centers of excellence, international organizations as defined by article 43 of the implementing rules to the EC Financial Regulation
- Be established in a member state of the European Union or India.
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary
- be able to demonstrate that they have carried out activities in the specific field covered by this call at least during the last three years at the time of submission of an application.
- Applicants must apply in English.
