NGO Awards is a unique, national competition organized by the Resource Alliance. It aims to celebrate and reward the best non-governmental and non-profit organizations by showcasing examples of best practice and successful resource mobilization. The awards focus on professional management, innovation in local resource mobilization, and the effectiveness of the organization’s activities in improving the lives of the people they serve.

The Resource Alliance currently accepting applications for NGO Awards in India.
Criteria-
The NGO Awards competition is open to all organizations registered in the country that have worked for a minimum number of years towards social and environmental transformation. The eligibility criterion excludes organizations propagating religious or political doctrines.
Selection process-
- Organizations submits an application form
- Initial assessment of all applications by the Resource Alliance team
- Stringent due diligence process comprising a narrative assessment and site visits for shortlisted candidates, undertaken by a team of regional assessors
- Regional finalists are presented to a jury comprising distinguished persons representing various stakeholder sectors
- National winners selected by the jury.
