The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to support small-scale local development actions in basic education and law enforcement/justice sectors by facilitating meaningful interaction and exchange between NSA and LA, improving the capacity of NSA to participate in policy dialogue and to play an oversight role, and supporting an increased role of LA in decentralization process.
Under this Call for Proposals, priority will be given to actions in Indonesia in two different sectors:
1) Basic Education, and 2) Law Enforcement and Justice.
The specific objective of actions in the basic education sector is to contribute to sustained poverty reduction as a result of improved access to quality education, within the context of Indonesia’s Basic Education Strategic Plan 2010-2014, by promoting engagement between local governments, Non-State Actors and other stakeholders who are responsible for education service delivery.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 1,000,000 divided into two financial envelopes:
EUR 850,000 for actions submitted by Non-State Actors (NSA) – budget-line 21.03.01
EUR 150,000 for actions submitted by Local Authorities (LA) – budget-line 21.03.02
