The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) is announcing its third call for concept notes for the Community Disaster Risk Reduction Fund (CDRRF) with a purpose of providing grants to communities across the Caribbean to support the costs of undertaking projects to strengthen the population’s ability to react to and reduce the risk of exposure to natural hazards.
The Community Disaster Risk Reduction (CDRR) Fund finances projects which reduce the risks of natural disasters and support climate change adaptation efforts in communities across the Caribbean.It works to help community members and groups find ways to reduce their vulnerability to risks associated with natural disasters and to adapt to a changing climate.
Eligible Countries: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands
Funding Information
- CDRRF will provide funding to the projects ranging from USD400,000 to USD650,000.
- The duration of the projects should be up to 24 months.

Eligibility Criteria
Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community based organisations (CBOs) registered and based in CDB Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs), Regional and national research institutions, and government agencies from the above mentioned countries are eligible to apply for the fund.
