Deadline: 15 July 2015
The Global ChangeMates Fellowship is a six months program for ambitious and creative young people who seek to forge new international connections with like-minded peers. Graduates, interns, trainees, project coordinators and junior project managers with a proven track-record of local civil society engagement will be eligible for participation. The 2015 Fellowship is our second cycle of peer-to-peer learning. This year, it seeks to match participants who are engaged in the fields or subfields of human rights, environmental protection, peace-building and internet activism. Participants get access to online trainings and a free week long training course from 30.10. – 8.11.2015. Prior experience
in working with international partners is NOT required.
Our fellows will be matched according to their work focus, interests and personalities to form German-Kenyan tandems. The Partnership with Africa Foundation fully covers all travel and accommodation costs, so the fellows can get to know each other, participate in joint workshops and a mixture of online and offline training modules.
The fellows will thus be equipped with the skills and networks to initiate and implement effective projects. At the end of the fellowship, the most promising projects will receive support for fundraising and implementation. All fellows receive a training certificate
upon successful completion.
