University of Leicester provides funding to pursue master’s degree in the field of Archaeology and Ancient History in UK.
The School of Archaeology and Ancient History prides itself on its highly successful and proven combination of leading-edge research with top-quality teaching, in an informal and friendly environment.
These bursaries are available for entry to one of the following Masters degree programmes:
- Archaeology (with pathways in Prehistory, Bioarchaeology, and Medieval Archaeology)
- Archaeology of the Roman World
- Historical Archaeology
- Classical Mediterranean
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants must be national of one of the countries listed in website, and completed secondary (high school) or tertiary (further/higher) education in that country.
- Or have completed secondary education in one or more of these countries.
- Or applicant completed two years of an undergraduate/Bachelors degree in one of these countries where the medium of instruction was English within the last three years.
- Or applicant completed a postgraduate/Masters degree in one of these countries where the medium of instruction was English within the last three years.
- Or applicant passed one of the English language tests, at or above the grade stated
- Or applicant passed one of the English language qualifications at or above the grade stated
