Akili Dada is currently inviting young women leaders around Kenya to participate in Young Women Leadership Development workshop scheduled to be organized on 24 to 26 June 2015 in Kenya.
Recognizing that there are few intentional investments in this group of young women leaders, Akili Dada is committed to addressing this gap by creating spaces to explore opportunities and skills relevant for the young women’s development as Africa’s future leaders. Akili Dada, an international non-profit organization works to empower African women leaders through its five parellel programmes-

The Young Women Leadership Development Workshop is a 3 day session for young women engaged in community leadership from across Kenya.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications are open to young women (between the age of 18 -30) who are currently serving or holding leadership positions in their communities, and are interested in pursuing political leadership.
- Young women from marginalized and pastoralist communities, living with disabilities or from Arid and Semi Arid areas are especially encouraged to apply.
