Applicants from kenyen Students are invited for SAP Software Certification training, Sap is a leading multinational software corporation that makes enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations. SAP has eight offices across Africa, with at least 8,000 certified professionals serving the content.
this scholarship is in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Communications and Multi Media University, in which SAP intend to train at least 100 students per year for SAP certification in Kenya. The training, worth an estimate USD 19,000 per student, will be offered on scholarship to recent university graduates from disadvantaged background students of Kenya.
The three week training, hosted at Multi Media University will cover modules in technology, business and finance, logistics and soft skills. Graduates from the course will then be matched with job placements in some of Kenya’s leading companies. Over 160,000 young Kenyans enrolled for university in 2011 . Many of these students will graduate at the top of their class only to struggle to find a job that fully utilizes their skill and intelligence. For students from disadvantaged backgrounds, the opportunities to find meaningful work are even harder to come by.
Eligibility–
- The study concludes that multinational companies based in Kenya can play a significant role in bridging the skills gap by working more closely with academia, establishing local hubs and implementing specialized skills training.

How to apply?
- The Kenya ICT Board has set up a secure online platform for the SAP Skills for Africa Scholarship Program.
- To submit application, please create a username and password.
- The username and password will allow to log in and fill out application form, save work, attach supporting documents and complete the form over time.
- Once applicant have completed their proposal, applicant will be able to securely submit it by clicking on the submit button.
