Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon is accepting applications for non-formal education services for Palestine refugees in Lebanon. The goal of this program is improve the access and quality of non formal education/VTE for Palestine refugees in Lebanon, hence contributing to better education, employability and employment prospects.
Objectives-
- Learning support for Palestine refugees in Lebanon.
- To contribute to drop-out prevention of Palestine refugee students in Lebanon living inside and outside of the Palestinian camps.
- To strengthen the education of Palestine refugees in Lebanon with special learning needs living inside and outside of the Palestinian camps.
- Coordination, empowerment and social accountability of the provision of education for Palestine refugees in Lebanon.
- To strengthen awareness raising, empowerment, transparency and coordination of the provision of formal and non formal education for Palestine refugee in Lebanon.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is EUR 1,900,000. The initial duration of an action may not be lower than 18 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal person
- be non profit making
- be non-State Actors as defined by the article 14 (h) of Regulation (EC) No 1638/2006 of the European Parliament and of The Council of 24 October 2006 laying down general provisions establishing a European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument. This includes: (i) non-governmental organisations; (ii) organisations representing national and/or ethnic minorities; (iii) local citizens’ groups and traders’ associations; (iv) cooperatives, trade unions, organisations representing economic and social interests; (v) local organisations (including networks) involved in decentralised regional cooperation and integration; (vi) consumer organisations, women’s and youth organisations, teaching, cultural research and scientific organisations; (vii) universities; (viii) churches and religious associations and communities; (ix) the media; (x) cross-border associations, non-governmental associations and independent foundations
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country that it is beneficiary of the ENPI Regulation
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- Non-Lebanese applicants must be in partnership with a Palestinian or Lebanese organisation
