UNDP’s Global Environment Facility’s Small Grant Program (SGP) provides two types of grants: Planning Grant and Full Grant. Interested NGOs are advised to follow the procedures as set in the How To Apply section to submit proposals seeking SGP grants.
Eligibility Criteria–
Interested NGOs and CBOs seeking for SGP grants should make sure that the following basic criteria are met before attempting to submit a proposal.
- Locally registered NGOs, CBOs and civil societies.
- Demonstrate strong organizational capacity to implement SGP grant projects and meet SGP requirements.
- Ensure the proposed project falls within one of the specified GEF SGP focal areas.
- Demonstrate strong community involvement in the planned or proposed project.
