As part of the Institutional Support for the road transport sector and the development of existing routes in Mali, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched a restricted call for proposals with a total budget of € 2.6 million for promoting the following priorities:
– the fight against road safety,
– protection of the collective heritage and the environment,
– the fight against HIV-AIDS in the transport sector and
– socio-economic activities by women and young people (market activities, restaurants, tourism, management of water points, health management of public activities to diversify income IWT etc.
Eligibility
Any legal non-profit, non-governmental organizations and anybody in the relevant fields may apply for the grant. Activities must take place in Mali.
Component-wise Subsidies
By component, the amount of subsidies granted to an activity under this call is:
Component A: Fight against road safety
– minimum amount: 500,000 euros
– maximum amount: EUR 1,000,000
Component B: Protection of the collective heritage and the environment
– minimum amount: 250,000 euros
– maximum amount: 500,000 euros
Component C: The fight against HIV-AIDS in the transport sector
– minimum amount: 250,000 euros
– maximum amount: 500,000 euros
Component D: Socio-economic activities for women and young
– minimum amount: 200,000 euros
– maximum amount: 600,000 euros
