The NSA Program / AL supports the development and strengthening of the capacities of actors state and local authorities to facilitate their impact on policy definition public and development processes. Emphasizes the actors, instead of focusing on sectors, and promotes the “right of initiative” partners, providing resources financial statements for their “own initiatives” when geographical programs are not the appropriate instrument. Complement the support that other thematic programs can provide them “Sectoral” in particular the program on democracy and human rights.
The overall objective of this Call for Proposals is to help increase the degree of cohesion, social participation and dialogue in the country, through a strengthened and active role of NSAs in social cohesion strategies and issues of interest public.
Eligibility-
- be legal persons and
- be non-profit and
- be a non-state actor (NSA) 2 incorporated under the laws in force in Mexico or
- a Member State of the European Union. NSA from a Member State of the European Unionnon-governmental organizations, organizations representing the
- indigenous peoples, organizations representing national minorities or ethnic, professional groups and local citizens’ groups, cooperatives, trade unions, organizations representing economic and social, civil rights organizations, organizations that fight against discrimination, organizations premises (including networks) involved in decentralized regional cooperation and integration, organizations consumers, organizations fighting corruption and fraud and promoting good governance, organizations
- must have been registered as such for at least 3 years from the date of submission of the application. The NSA of Mexico must have been registered as such for at least 3 years from the date of filing
- be directly responsible, with partners, preparation and management of the action and not acting as an intermediary
- Applicants must demonstrate specific experience of at least two years in the field of the proposed action
- Each applicant must have at least one partner organization in each of the states where the action is developed, which the association is mandatory.
