The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the Consulate General of the United States, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico is accepting applications for the grant to promote gender equality through STEM higher education and careers. The main objective is to encourage girls to pursue higher education and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.

Program Goals
The goals of this funding opportunity are to:
- Introduce middle school and high school girls to real-world applications of STEM fields;
- Foster the girls’ interest in pursuing higher education and careers in STEM fields;
- Provide girls with female mentors in STEM professions;
- Increase local capacity to provide activities linking education to employer needs in order to develop a 21st century workforce and advance prosperity in the region; and
- Promote mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of Mexico
Eligibility Information
- Applications may be submitted by any not for profit Mexican entity.
- Prime applicant must be a Mexican organization, organizations may submit applications individually or in partnership with other international or local organizations.
- Applicants are only allowed to submit one proposal per organization.
