Sida has announced call for proposals for Research Training Partnership Programme between Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique and Swedish and/or South African research institutions with a aim to strengthen institutional research capacity at universities and research institutions/organisations that contributing to increased capacity for carrying out research for inclusive development.
Postgraduate research training may aim directly at:
- local PhD training
- Masters training programmes as part of PhD-training for the recruitment of competent candidates.
- Sandwich training of university staff at Swedish or South African universities until the number of researchers allows the initiation of local research training.
The focus of this programme is to strengthen research capacity through training or through supporting components essential for high quality research.
Sida is a government agency working on behalf of the Swedish parliament and government, with the mission to reduce poverty in the world.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications will be accepted from the bodies/entities responsible for research training at Eduardo Mondlane University together with their proposed partner Swedish and/or South African university bodies/entities responsible for research training and with the right for examination in Sweden or South Africa.
