Europe Aid is seeking proposals for European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights(EIDHR) Country Based Support Scheme(CBSS) 2013 allocation to Nepal. The mission of this proposal is to strengthen the role of civil society in promoting human rights and democratic reform, supporting the initiatives for combating discrimination, promoting access to opportunities for economic development and better social security and also fostering democratic practices and political participation of women, persons with disability and other disadvantaged communities/groups.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 600 000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 36 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be established in a Member State of the European Union and Nepal
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- be able to demonstrate that they have regularly carried out activities in particular issues covered by the proposed project at least during the last two years at the time of submission of an application
