The Kopila Fellows program is designed to bring outstanding people throughout the world to be part of community in Surkhet, Nepal. The fellows program seek positive, fun, extraordinary thinkers and doers who will help inspire and nurture the children, staff and faculty of our ever-growing home and school.
The Kopila Fellows program requires a five month minimum commitment. The Kopila Fellows program is a non-paid fellowship where food and lodging is provided. Each year we identify evolving areas of need, and select outstanding individuals with unique aptitudes and expertise in those fields.
The Kopila Wellness Fellow is dedicated to promote a healthy environment in home and school.
Kopla Fellows Requirements:
- Basic requirements: The candidates are able to commit to a minimum of 5 months, possibly more pending VISA status. The candidates are at least 18-years-old. The candidate speaks English fluently and is able to live and work in a drug and alcohol free environment. The candidate understands and respect that Kopila Valley Children’s Home and School is a secular organization and not affiliated with any religious ideology. Moreover, the candidate should be physically and emotionally healthy and require no special medical treatment. He or she should accept responsibility for paying own travel and visa costs.
