Deadline: 23 February 2015
The Demand Generation Working Group (DGWG) of the United Nations Commission on Life Saving Commodities for Women and Children (UNCoLSC) is currently accepting applications for small grants to support the development and implementation of demand generation communication strategies in Nepal. Organizations working in Nepal can submit their proposals that complement country-specific RMNCH priorities by identifying opportunities and gaps in demand generation for the prioritized commodities.
The small grants will support the work of relevant stakeholders to develop demand generation communication strategies and implement activities that strengthen demand generation efforts for the 13 prioritized reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH) commodities identified by the UNCoLSC.
The UNCoLSC was established as part of the global Every Woman Every Child (EWEC) movement, which seeks to mobilize and intensify global action to address the main treatable health challenges like death during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and early childhood being faced by women and children in the poorest countries.
Two grants of up to US$20,000 per grant will be awarded to the selected candidate.
