United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is inviting applications from US and Non-US non-profit/profit/public international organizations; colleges and universities for Solicitation for Conflict Mitigation and Reconciliation Programs and Activities grant. The major objective of the grant program is to make significant strides in the overall goal of conflict mitigation, peace, and reconciliation through the implementation of people-to-people activities in selected eligible conflict-affected countries.
Categories –
- Local Organizations with headquarter in the country where the proposed activity will take place- in the range of US$100,000 to US$500,000.
- Local and Non-local Organizations – in the range of US$500,000 to US $1,200,000
Eligibility Criteria –
- US and Non-US Non Profit Organizations NGOs; US and Non-US for Profit Organizations; US and Non-US Colleges and Universities; Public International Organizations (PIOs) are eligible to apply.
- Applications below a minimum amount of US$100,000 or above a maximum amount of US$1,200,000 will not be considered for the grant. Applications for less than 1 year and more than 4 years program duration will not be considered.
- Applications can be submitted for the following eligible countries – Africa (Burundi, Central African Republic, East Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya and Nigeria); Europe and Eurasia (Georgia); South America (Peru); and Asia (Nepal, Papua New Guinea and Thailand).
- Eligible programs are – cross-border programs (all must be eligible countries under the call), ongoing programs.
