Deadline: Different for different scholarships
WWF Nepal is giving an opportunity to students to pursue their studies in big institutions in Nepal securing WWF Nepal Memorial Scholarship Award of up to Rs 569,400. The scholarship is awarded to honor the 24 conservation heroes and will assist students who wish to pursue careers in conservation.
Recognizing the tremendous loss of leadership in conservation sector, through this fund WWF will help build a new generation of conservation leaders to ensure the future of Nepal’s rich natural heritage is in safe hands.

Nepal Conservation Memorial Scholarship

The Nepal Conservation Memorial Scholarship is given to a student to pursue Bachelor’s Degree in the field of environment and biodiversity conservation in Nepal.
The scholarship recipient will receive Nepali Rupees. 569,400 over a period of 4 years to cover tuition, field equipment and field tour fees, living expenses, books and supplies, and thesis research costs while pursuing their a bachelor’s degree in a conservation-related field at a university in Nepal.

Mingma Norbu Sherpa Memorial Scholarship

WWF Nepal has instituted Mingma Norbu Sherpa Memorial Scholarship in honor of late Mingma Norbu Sherpa for his life-long commitment and remarkable contribution to participatory biodiversity conservation in Nepal. The scholarship aims to encourage bright and promising students from Nepal’s rural mountain areas preferably those from Sagarmatha, Kangchenjunga, Langtang, Manaslu, Makalu Barun, Gaurishankar, Annapurna (Manang and Mustang districts), Rara, Dolpo and Api Nampa to pursue careers in biodiversity conservation.

WWF Prince Bernhard Scholarships for Nature Conservation

The WWF Prince Bernhard Scholarship Fund (PBS) provides financial support to individuals wishing to pursue short-term professional training or formal studies that will help them contribute more effectively to conservation efforts in Nepal. The numbers of award available are 18.
